NIMA ROOZ: High Casualty Rate Among Troops Discussed
Over the past four days, more than one hundred security force members have been killed in Kunduz and Farah provinces.
Casualties among security forces have also been recorded in Ghazni, Uruzgan, Faryab and Nangarhar provinces.
The security leadership has however been criticized over the management of security forces in the country.
Currently almost ten provinces in the country are dealing with heavy clashes between government forces and the Taliban. However the chief of army staff and the ministry of interior’s deputy minister have for the past 10 days been dealing with ongoing protests in Faryab province.
