Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah said on Sunday in Parwan province that the National Unity Government (NUG) has failed to fulfill some commitments made to the nation and that is why the gap between government and the people has increased.  

Abdullah, who was accompanied by a number of MPs, was in Parwan to introduce the new provincial governor, Fazluddin Ayar. 

He said although the NUG has failed to implement promises made to the people, they were still trying to do their best to address people’s demands.
