NIMA WARAZ: Pakistan Shelling Discussed

Local officials said Pakistan has fired off more than 5,000 rockets at Kunar province in eastern Afghanistan in the past six months, forcing hundreds of families to flee.
 
Officials said many homes have been destroyed in the ongoing attack along the Durand Line – the disputed border between Afghanistan and Pakistan.
 
Kunar Governor Wahidullah Kalimzai told TOLOnews that Afghan forces have however started fighting back against Pakistan.
 
The Kunar Police Chief Lieutenant General Juma Gul Himmat said the rocket shelling has displaced more than 300 families.
 
The displaced families have appealed to aid organizations to help them and they have also called on government to find a way to end this onslaught.
