Afghan athlete Hussain Bakhsh Safari won a gold medal in contact jiu-jitsu in the 4th Asian Jiu-jitsu Championship 2019 in Ulaanbaatar in Mongolia and becomes the champion of contact jujitsu in this championship.
Safar also got a bronze medal in fighting jiu-jitsu.
The 4th Asian Jiu-jitsu Championship 2019 was attended by athletes from 24 Asian countries.
Safari on his Facebook page has written: “I present these gold and bronze medals to my hero people who have suffered a lot.”
Safari, 21-year-old, won the first gold medal in Ju-jitsu at the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games (AIMAG) in Turkmenistan on September 2017.
