Afghanistan’s U-19 National Football Team finished fourth in the 2019 CAFA U-19 Championship after losing its last match 2-0 to Iran on Tuesday.

The event was held in Tajikistan.

The Afghan team played four matches against Iran, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.

Its first match was against Uzbekistan which ended 2-2. The second match also ended 2-2 against Turkmenistan.

Afghanistan lost its matches against Iran and host Tajikistan – both 2-0 its rivals’ favor.

The final match of the event will be held on Thursday between Iran and Tajikistan.

Afghanistan has two points in this competition has grabbed fourth place. Turkmenistan got the fifth position.
