Afghanistan-Ireland T20I Abandoned Due To Rain

Afghanistan’s 3rd T20I against Ireland was abandoned due to heavy rain on Friday.
 
“Due to heavy overnight rain, and a waterlogged, unsafe pitch the match officials have called today's game off,” Cricket Ireland said on Twitter.
 
Afghanistan was declared the winner of the series after winning the first two matches. 

The team will go on to play Ireland next week in their One Day International series. 
 
Meanwhile, Afghan player Hazratullah Zazai was named player of the T20I series.
 
Afghanistan’s National Cricket Team beat Ireland by 81 runs in the second of three T20 International’s on Wednesday at the Bready Cricket Club in Bready, Northern Ireland.
 
Afghanistan won the toss and elected to bat. 

The team also beat Ireland by 16 runs in the first T20 International on Monday. 
 
Their recent performances include a 3-0 T20I series win over Bangladesh in June.
