Simorgh Alborz F.C., from the eastern region, took on De Abasin Sape F.C., from the northern zone, in the start of the second week of Afghanistan’s Premier League 2017 tournament  on Wednesday.

The two teams had good opportunities to score goals but missed one after the other.

The only goal of the match was netted by Hayatullah Salimi of Simorgh in the 92nd minute of the game.

The match ended 1-0 in Simorgh’s favor.

The next match of the tournament will be held between Oqaban Hindukush and Shaheen Asmayee on Thursday.
