The Afghan cricket team is set to face host United Arab Emirates on Monday evening in their second Desert T20 championship match in Abu Dhabi.  
 
The match is scheduled to start at 7:30pm Kabul time.
 
The Afghan cricket team has beaten their UAE counterparts in three consecutive T20 matches in the past, so hopes are high that they will maintain their winning streak on Monday.  
 
The Afghan National Cricket team beat Ireland on Saturday evening in their first Desert T20 Challenge match at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
 
Afghanistan, an Associate member, is ranked ninth among Twenty20 international teams above even Test playing nations like Bangladesh and Zimbabwe.
 
Afghanistan will also take on Namibia on Thursday in their third match.
