Afghan politicians have warned against relating the Kashmir dispute between India and Pakistan to the conflict in Afghanistan.

Among the critics is Afghan former president Hamid Karzai who believes that the issue of Kashmir and the war in Afghanistan totally two separate issues, suggesting neighboring Pakistan to avoid merging the two separate issues.

But Pakistani ambassador to Afghanistan Zahid Nasrullah Khan has said that Kashmir dispute is a mutual issue between India and Pakistan and it has nothing to do with the violence in Afghanistan.
