The seventh round of talks between the US and the Taliban is expected to begin on Saturday in Qatari capital, Doha, where negotiators from the two parties have been trying to hammer out a deal to end to the ongoing stalemate in Afghanistan.

The US Special Envoy Zalmay Khalilzad who leads the US side in the talks said on June 22 that the next round of talks between the two sides will resume on Jun 29.
