A book fair was held in Kabul on Saturday at Salem Ezadyar Square (formerly Zanbaq Square) – the scene of May’s deadly truck bombing – in commemoration of Ahmad Shah Massoud.

Protesters, led by the Uprising for Change Movement, held a sit-in protest at the square for weeks after the attack.

Saturday’s exhibition, was organized by the same movement and a publishing company and was for one day only.
