Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) officials on Thursday shared their plans for the next year with media and sponsor companies to attract support for the institution.
According to the cricket board, the national cricket team will play in Asian cup, world cup qualifying matches and a match against Bangladesh next year.
“We will play New Zealand in a test match in the near future and meanwhile the national team will appear against powerful squads of the world,” said Shafiqullah Stanekzai, the CEO of Afghanistan Cricket Board.
“It is a big honor for us to share our happy moments with the people through cricket. Cricket is one of the most suitable places for our ads to deliver our message to the people,” said Bahar Ahmad, head of a private hospital in Kabul.
The national cricket team will play three T20 and five ODI matches against Zimbabwe next year in February.
Meanwhile, the team will play India in a friendly match in the near future.
