Motorcycles Issued to Security Forces to Patrol on Crowded Areas

The Kabul Security Command said that motorcycles have been distributed to all security zones of Kabul city for patrolling by security forces.

The Kabul security command's spokesperson, Khalid Zadran, said that the distribution of motorcycles aims to enhance the patrolling for better security of citizens during the Eid al-Fitr holidays.

Zadran told TOLOnews: "In order to ensure security during Eid al-Fitr, hundreds of motorcycles have been entrusted to the Kabul Security Command by the Ministry of Interior, and security forces are patrolling with these motorcycles to allow our fellow citizens to celebrate the holiday in a peaceful atmosphere."

Abdul Rahim Ajmal, the commander of Kabul city's tenth security zone, said: "The goal is to always have motorcycle patrols in our area, and it has been effective for provision of the security.”

Meanwhile, security forces in one of Kabul’s zones said that ensuring security in the capital is their daily responsibility.

“The Islamic Emirate’s security forces have been appointed for ensuring the security in crowded areas to assure the security of those who come to shop or go on vacation,” said Ehsanullah, a security officer.

Meanwhile, Kabul residents said they appreciated the efforts of the Islamic Emirate's forces to ensure security and they assured that citizens are ready to cooperate in any way necessary.

“We can freely go anywhere we want even late at night or 1:00 am, there is no security problem and if they provide the security like this, it would be very good,” said Wahid Hussain, another Kabul resident.

Khalid Zadran, the spokesman for the Kabul Security Command, also asked residents of Kabul to refrain from aerial firings, selling firecrackers, plastic guns, and other items that disturb public order during the Eid days. According to Zadran, legal actions will be taken against violators.
