36 Armed Insurgents Killed In ANSF Airstrike In Kunduz

At least 36 insurgents were killed during an Afghan security forces’ airstrike in northern Kunduz province on Saturday, Kunduz police said Sunday.

At least ten others were wounded in the strike, police added. 

Police chief Abdul Baqi Noristani said that several Taliban hideouts were targeted in Chardara district during Afghan air strikes and ground operations. 

Taliban suffered heavy casualties during the strikes, Noristani added.

Noristani did not give details about civilian or security forces casualties. 

Taliban has not commented about the operation.
