Four Daesh Militants Surrender To Jawzjan Police

At least four Daesh militants have surrendered to police and handed over their weapons to government forces in Jawzjan province on Wednesday, local official said on Thursday.

“These four men had worked for Qari Hekmat’s group who is a Daesh fighter. The four men were fighting against government in Darzab district (in Jawzjan),” Jawzjan Police Chief Rahmatullah Turkestani said.

These former Daesh fighters are residents of Darzab district and have cut their ties with Daesh, he added. 

The police chief did not provide more details in this respect.
