BAZAR: Women Talk About Handcraft Showcase In Kabul

Women from rural areas displayed their handcrafts and home-made products at an exhibition in Kabul on Saturday.

The products presented at the exhibition included agricultural items, dresses, shoes and crafts made by women in the villages of Balkh, Nangarhar, Parwan, Herat and Bamiyan provinces.

In this episode of the Bazar, host Zarmina Mohammadi discusses the topic with Abdul Wafi Nayebzai, head of the media office of the national program on rural development.

In a separate conversation, Mohammadi examines the low spending of the development budget in the country with Abadullah Darman, a university lecturer.

He also talks about the warm welcome by the villagers from the government's citizen's charter initiative, with Saleh Mohammad Samat, head of vulnerable groups.
