Afghanistan’s U-15 Football Team lost 3-0 in its opening match against Tajikistan on Sunday night in the Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) tournament.
Afghanistan will face Kyrgyzstan in their second match on Tuesday.
This is the second year that Uzbekistan is hosting the tournament. Afghanistan is the defending champions.
The tournament started on Sunday and Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Iran, and Turkmenistan are all taking part.
The event, being held in Tashkent, will end on July 30.
Afghanistan will play against Kyrgyzstan, Iran, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan after the opening match – in that order.
