Two blasts targeted two minivans carrying civilians in two areas in the west of Kabul on Saturday afternoon, the Ministry of Interior Affairs said.

One of the blasts happened in the Dasht-e-Barchi area in Kabul’s District 13 and another happened after less than 30 minutes in Mahtab Qala area in Kabul’s District 6.

Family of an Afghan journalist Hafizullah Haqparast who was killed in a crossfire between government forces and the Taliban in Logar province said they want justice from the country’s judiciaries to take the perpetrators accountable. 

Logar journalists’ council in a letter to the Afghan government and the Taliban called on both sides to identify those involved in the case and bring them to justice.
