US President Donald Trump has once against highlighted the need for the US military to win the war against Taliban insurgents in Afghanistan.

He said that US military commanders have been given the authority needed to use all military power in the country.

MPs in the Wolesi Jirga (Lower House of Parliament) on Wednesday said that the casualty toll among members of the Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) increased dramatically in the past few months in Farah province, which has seen a serious upsurge of violence.

MPs also claimed that Resolute Support forces are not supporting local troops in Farah.
