Afghan MMA fighter Baz Mohammad Mubariz is set to face a French opponent in the cage today (Sunday, March 31).

The fight between Mubariz and the French fighter will take place in Thailand at 4:30 PM (Afghanistan Time).

The 34-year-old fighter, who has been preparing in Thailand for the past three months, said that he is striving to win honor for his country.

Mubariz will face Johan Van de Hel in this fight at a weight of 74 kilograms.

Baz Mohammad Mubariz, said: "I have a match against my French opponent on March 31st, I thank you all for your support. I am trying to once again raise the flag of Afghanistan high and win honor for the people of my country."

So far Baz Mohammad Mubariz has eleven victories and six defeats in his last seventeen fights.
