Speaking at the 26th anniversary of Mujahideen Victory in Kabul on Saturday Afghan President Ashraf Ghani said that elections must be transparent and fair.

Ghani said government will not interfere in the parliamentary and district council elections adding that parliament also should not interfere. 

He however did not mention who in parliament wants to interfere in the election process.
