The political office of the Islamic Emirate in Qatar said Saturday that a security pact will be signed between Kabul and Doha to ensure the Gulf nation’s cooperation with Afghanistan in security and defensive affairs. Under the pact, if signed, Qatar will cooperate in providing uniforms to the security forces, in payment for the defense ministry’s forces salaries and in providing other military equipment, Mohammad Naeem, the spokesman of Kabul’s political office in Doha, told TOLOnews.
