President Ashraf Ghani on Sunday said the consensus which has emerged around peace in Afghanistan is unprecedented and that his administration still believes in achieving a “dignified” peace with the opponents.

The Presidential hopeful Mohammad Haneef Atmar on Sunday reiterated his call on government and election commissions to put in place all required measures to ensure that the upcoming presidential elections are held on time, transparent, credible and inclusive to protect the democratic system in the country.
