National Directorate of Security (NDS) said in a statement on Wednesday they had arrested four Daesh members in Kabul.
According to the NDS’s statement, they were are arrested in PD 5, with weapons in their possession.
The NDS said the four suspects had been posing as taxi drivers and using their vehicles to transport weapons and Daesh militants to Kabul and other provinces. They were also reportedly involved in recruitment of new Daesh members.
The group had been hiding out in Qargha, in Kabul. According to the NDS, their forces seized weapons, a suicide vest and a vehicle at the location.
No information was given regarding the operation.
