India Beats Pakistan By Eight Wickets in Asia Cup 2018

India’s National Cricket Team beat Pakistan by eight wickets in the Asia Cup 2018 on Wednesday night in Abu Dhabi.

Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat first.

It was a sterling effort by India’s bowling unit that saw them take out Pakistan for a paltry 162 runs in 43.1 overs.

Wednesday night’s match was India’s most comprehensive victory in terms of balls remaining 126.

Rohit Sharma got 52 runs and Shikhar Dhwawan 46 for their team and added 86 for the opening wicket to ensure a smooth chase for India in only 29 overs.

The two teams will now meet in the Super Four on September 23.

However, Pakistan suffered a batting collapse losing five wickets for 36 runs before Faheem Ashraf’s 21 and Mohammed Amir’s 16 runs, added on invaluable 37 runs for eight wickets to take the total past 150 run mark.

In other match of the tournament, Afghanistan to face Bangladesh on Thursday at 4pm local Kabul time.
