At least 10 people were killed and four others wounded in a grenade attack in Laghman province on Sunday night, local officials said.

The officials said the incident took place when unknown men threw two grenades on a civilian house in Badpakh district of Laghman.

The provincial governor's office said all victims are member of one family.

Women and children are also among the victims, the office said.

Laghman police said the reason behind the incident is not clear yet and police have started investigation in this respect.
