At least 27 Daesh insurgents were killed in eastern Nangarhar province in an Afghan airforces airstrikes on Saturday night, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said in a statement on Sunday.
The airstrike took place in Chenar Keli, Sahiban and Mullah Badur villages of Koot district of Nangarhar, according to the statement.
“During the air raid, an amount of light and heavy rounds of ammunition were destroyed,” it said.
However, the statement did not provide more details about the airstrike.
