Aino Mena – a township in Kandahar – is considered a leading example of reconstruction and development in Afghanistan.

The construction of this township has brought about positive changes to the lives of hundreds of people in the area.

The township is spread over 20,000 jirebs of land and is home to 4,000 families.

But the township has not only provided housing to people but it has also created over 250,000 jobs over the years.

Currently 800 people work for the township and earn between Afs15,000 and Afs150,000 a month.
