Kabul Residents Protest Trump’s Jerusalem Move

Dozens of Kabul residents on Friday protested the US President Donald Trump’s decision on Jerusalem, saying that it is against the international laws.

The protesters included religious scholars, MPs, tribal elders and a number of Kabul residents.

The protesters said Trump’s decision on Jerusalem is not acceptable.

They said Israel is responsible for killing of thousands of Palestinians. They called on the international community to denounce Trump’s move on Jerusalem.

“It is Trump’s personal decision, not of the American people. We condemn the decision,” a protester said.

“President Ashraf Ghani and Chief Executive (Abdullah Abdullah) have issued a statement and President Ghani in Turkey talked in this respect. We have gathered here in support of the statement,” another protester said.

Other protesters said they are ready to help the Palestine youth in the fight against Israel.

“I urge Muslim countries to announce Jihad against them,” a protester said.

Members of the rally praised Turkish government’s stance against Israel and for hosting the special summit of the Islamic Cooperation Organization.
