The National Directorate of Security (NDS) said in a statement on Wednesday that NDS forces foiled a explosion in Kabul on Tuesday. 

The NDS said security forces found a cart, loaded with two gas cylinders, explosive materials and an IED. 

The insurgents had packed the cart with a total of 54kgs of explosives. 

The statement said the target had been a residential area in PD10 in Kabul city.
