The Afghanistan National Institute of Music on Wednesday celebrated its sixth winter festival where it introduced the first Afghan girls orchestra led by Negin Khpulwak.

Head of the institute Ahmad Nasir Sarmast said his students have made great progress and continue to improve every year.

Students at the institute have traveled to a number of countries around the world where they have shared their music at numerous of concerts, he said.
