BAZAR: Govt Expects High Economic Growth This Year
Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce Ajmal Ahmadi says the country's economic growth will reach about four percent by the end of this year.
Afghanistan’s economy grew by around two percent in 2018 despite progress in economic policies, likely leading to further increases in poverty and deterioration in living standards, according to the World Bank’s recent Afghanistan Development Update.
Ahmadi said there was a good improvement in industries and agriculture and that the country's exports will also reach to $1 billon.
In this program, host Zarmina Mohammadi discusses the topic with Samir Rasa, a spokesman for Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
