Officials at Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat, Afghanistan’s power supply company, said a number of government institutions and powerful figures in Badakhshan are not paying their electricity bills. 

According to DABS officials in Badakhshan, nearly 51 million Afghanis is outstanding for just the past few months.
 
The officials said that government institutions owe 10 million Afghanis for.
