The railway administration says that the development in the railway sector between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan will be one of the most important issues during the president's next visit to Uzbekistan.

The department’s deputy said Uzbekistan is interested in helping Afghanistan with the construction of the north-west railway line in the country.

Meanwhile, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) said that a trade agreement between high-ranking officials of the two countries will also be signed soon.
