Officials at the Ministry of Defence have criticized Pakistan over its “un-coordinated” military operation close to the Afghan border and said that “Islamabad is trying to push Haqqani network and other insurgents into Afghanistan.”

Dawlat Wazizi, a spokesman for the MoD said that “Pakistan should target areas being monitored by U.S and China and ones that the Afghan government considered as a threat.”
