Three-Day Exhibition of Domestic Products Held in Parwan

A three-day exhibition of domestic products featuring various traders from different provinces has been held in Parwan.

Officials from the Directorate of Industry and Commerce said that the primary objective of the exhibition is to bolster domestic products. Additionally, it provides a platform for women to showcase their handicrafts and other products.

Raz Mohammad Yasir, the head of Industry and Commerce in Parwan, stated: “We have planned about 100 booths, a portion of which has been allocated for women. This exhibition will last for three days, allowing all our compatriots to explore the country’s domestic products during this time.”

Officials in Parwan province pledged their support for domestic products to foster industrial growth.

Idris Anwari, Deputy Governor of Parwan, said: “Certainly, the products displayed here are substantial and usable and can compete with those produced in any country.”

Several participants welcomed the exhibition and emphasized their interest in participating in international exhibitions.

Ahmad Mukhtar Roufi, a stall owner, said: “Exhibitions are an opportunity to showcase Afghanistan’s products, and producers can introduce what they produce.”

Mohammad Shirzad, another stall owner, said: “We should be encouraged in this area so that we can expand our production and organize such exhibitions weekly.”

Visitors of the exhibition find it effective in promoting and introducing domestic products.

Torgul, a visitor, said: “Setting up exhibitions is very good because we can see the progress that has been made in Afghanistan.”

Mohammad Saber, a visitor, said: “When we see our country’s products here, we are very pleased. Organizing these events is beneficial.”

Previously, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce announced that around 33 exhibitions are scheduled to be held both domestically and internationally in solar year 1403.
