Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov called on Qatar and other Arab nations to hold face-to-face talks to end the current crisis.

Lavrov said Russia appreciated Kuwait and the US’s efforts to end the disagreements between Qatar and a number of Arab countries and said Russia can play a vital role in mitigating the tension.
