The Men in Blue have looked unstoppable in the inaugural edition of the ongoing Desert T20 tournament and have finished the group stages with a perfect record - three wins from as many matches.

In the semi-finals on Friday, Afghanistan beat Oman and entered the final round. 

Oman batted first in this match and set 150 runs as the target for Afghanistan in 20 overs.

However, Afghanistan succeeded to complete the target by losing its two wickets in 18 overs. 

Shahzad Mohammadi was selected man of the match in their competition against Oman. 

This comes after on Thursday, Asghar Stanikzai's men made light work of the lowest-ranked team in the tournament, Nambia, by 64 runs.
