Recent Israeli Strikes Claim 48 Lives in Gaza

Residents of Gaza reported the discovery of a mass grave at the Nasser Hospital compound in the Khan Younis area in southern Gaza.

The Gaza Health Ministry said that Israel’s forces have once again bombed the Rafah area in southern Gaza.

According to the ministry, at least 48 Palestinians were killed and 79 others injured in the latest Israel’s attacks on Gaza.

"It is a difficult scene beyond what you can imagine. It is a difficult scene for someone to bring back the body of a dear human being," said Asma Al-Shorbaji, a woman whose husband Died in the conflict.

“Did you see one man in all of those killed? Spot one man who has been killed. All of them inside the house and here are women and children, as you can see with your eyes. My entire identity has been wiped out, with my wife, children and everyone,” said Saqr Abdel Aal, a palestinian who lost all his family members.

“What’s being sent by the U.S. is sent for those who are fully exterminating the Palestinian people and this is the result. We are not lying, and we’re not doing anything, go ahead and check the picture, the pictures tell what's happening (the truth). Those you find (bodies) will be cut apart. If this happened to only one American, the whole world would be turned upside down, but as for us, unfortunately, the Security Council is not helping, there’s normalization (with Israel), and it’s like, die, just die. This is the result of the U.S. weapons and the American support in billions, this is the result,” said Mohammad Al-Buhairi, a palestinian whose family members are still under the rubble.

Meanwhile, Hamas and Israel accused each other of violating the ceasefire and the release of Israeli hostages.

Ismail Haniyeh, head of Hamas's political bureau, said: "Despite tens of sessions and communications exchanged via our mediators, the Zionist enemy until this point has not agreed to a ceasefire in Gaza.

Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, said: "Therefore, we will land additional and painful blows on it (Hamas) - and it will happen soon. In the coming days, we will increase the military and political pressure on Hamas because this is the only way to free our hostages and achieve our victory."

These Israeli attacks on Gaza have intensified recently while the US House of Representatives recently passed a military aid bill for Israel worth $26 billion.

Hamas in a statement condemned this action by the US House of Representatives, saying that the bill violates international laws and gives the Israeli government the green light to continue its violations against the people of Gaza.
