Some residents of Kabul's fourth district say that several months have passed, yet the reconstruction of Badam Bagh Road remains incomplete.

According to them, the reconstruction process is progressing slowly, and they urge the municipality to pay serious attention to this matter.

Raz Mohammad, a resident of Kabul, said, "It has been approximately seven to eight months since this road was destroyed and it was announced that it would be fundamentally rebuilt; unfortunately, it has been eight months and the road is still not repaired."

Mohammad Afzal, another resident, stated, "Our request to the government and the municipality is to act as soon as possible to resolve the people's issues because this is a public road."

However, the Kabul Municipality states that twenty percent of the Badam Bagh Road reconstruction up to Sarai Shamali has progressed and it is expected to be fundamentally completed and operational by the end of the current solar year.

Nematullah Barakzai, a representative of the Kabul Municipality, said, "Another segment of this road starts from Naderia School up to Sarai Shamali, which is about three thousand meters in length. The first part of it is two thousand meters length and thirty meters wide, and the second part is one thousand two hundred meters long and twenty meters wide, and will be operational next year."

Previously, the Kabul Municipality had announced that it had 165 projects underway, valued at 6.4 billion Afghanis for the current solar year.
