Afghanistan's Paralympic Wheelchair Basketball Team defeated Taiwan 57-55 at the Asian Para Games, which was their second win in the competition. 

The National Wheelchair Basketball Team is no longer in the competition, having won two matches -- against the Philippines and Taiwan -- and lost four --  to Iran, Thailand, Malaysia, and China.

A number of other Afghans participated in the games, including Para-taekwondo and weightlifting, but none have earned medals yet.

The Asian Para Games are being held in Hangzhou, China.
