Delegation of Islamic Clerics from UK Meet with Acting Ministers

A delegation of Islamic clerics which recently arrived in Kabul met with the acting minister of Vice and Virtue, and minister of Justice of the Islamic Emirate

According to the spokesman for the Ministry of Vice and Virtue, Mohammad Akif Mahajar, the acting Minister Mohammad Khalid Hanafi said that the Islamic Emirate remains committed to practical implementation of its promises.

Hanafi also called the propaganda against the Islamic Emirate inaccurate.

“These Ulema said that they want to see an image of Islamic government in Afghanistan,” Mahajar said.

The delegation of the religious clerics from the UK also met with the acting minister of justice, Abdul Hakim Sharie.

“Implementation of Islamic Sharia means opening schools and granting girls’ access to their schools and educational centers, the education of girls and rights of women. The rights of women in the society is one of the fundamentals of Islamic religion,” said Wais Naseri, a political analyst.

“The obstacles ahead of girls' and women’s education should be lifted. The continuation of these obstacles causes a major disaster for today and tomorrow in Afghanistan,” said Fazal Hadi Wazin, university instructor.

The delegation earlier met with the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amir Khan Muttaqi, and talked about the ongoing situation, strengthening security, national stability and economic development after the Islamic Emirate came to power.
