The Afghan National Cricket Team will play Ireland in their first Twenty 20 International series in India on Wednesday.
Afghanistan has played seven T20 matches against Ireland and leads their encounters by four wins to three defeats.
Officials in the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) said the national team practiced for one week in Greater Noida in India.
The last time Afghanistan and Ireland faced each other in the Desert Cup challenge last year the Afghan squad beat Ireland three times during the championship.
Recently Afghanistan defeated Zimbabwe in ODI series to secure its place in the International Cricket Council rankings.
