At least 45 Taliban insurgents were killed and 29 others were wounded in Afghan forces' airstrikes in Helmand province in the past 24 hours, Helmand media office said.
The strike was conducted in Bolan and Spina Kota areas close to Lashkargah city of Helmand province, the office said in the statement.
Meanwhile on Monday in a separate airstrike in Lashkargah, 22 Taliban insurgents were killed and eight others were wounded, officials said.
Two Taliban’s vehicles were also targeted in the strike.
The Taliban has not commented yet about the air strikes.
